Well, here's some pictures I thought I would post. I claim no ownership of these photos. I just found them off of various sites on the internet. I think I"ll post about 6 pics a week, and you guys can tell me what memories they bring back. Brian Lee with one of the USWA Tag Championships. The late Moondog Spot with one of the USWA World Tag Championships. Eddie Gilbert with the "Jerry Lawler Starter Kit." Brian Christopher with both the USWA Southern and Texas Championships. Randy Hales bleeding like a stuck pig during the USWA/SMW feud. The Master of Pain with Ronnie P. Gossett. I don't know what ever happened to these guys.

Spot brings back lots of memories of just an overall helluva guy. Always took the time to stop and spend time talking w/ the fans. I never seen him in too much of a hurry as to not appreciate the fans. Also seeing the Gilbert photo makes me miss this legendary heel even more. So much talent that I cannot type that much. Great photos, keep'em coming.

Ronnie P. Gossett! Man, I used to HATE that guy as a kid! I couldn't stand him. I almost yelled at the TV when he was on as much as my grandma yelled at the TV when Jerry Lawler lost a match.

He was also a part of the Disciples of Apocalypse, and worked in ECW and SMW, as well. In the USWA, he was a member of the Stud Stable, and later returned as a member of the SMW faction during the USWA/SMW feud.

Here is some Austin Idol. An early pic of Idol, possibly before the accident. Austin Idol with an unidentified title belt. Absolutely one of the very best promo guys in the business. If it wasn't for his understandable fear of travel, he would have had a great run as NWA champion IMO. He had everything it took to have a very good run. Mark

It's amazing as I had most of those pics in my collection when I sold them to a good friend of mine. I am talking like 8 photo albums full of great stuff. There wasen't a pic I didn' have let them all got for $1,000.
The USWA Tag Titles are actually the old USA Tag Titles that was used in Ron Fuller's Southeastern promotion in Knoxville as Fuller & Golden brought the straps to Memphis. My friend actually did the work on the USWA Tag Titles to gold plated and black strap from it's original silver and red strap.
The belt MOP is holding is the old Unified World Title as my best friend owns the belt as well as the original AWA World Title that Lawler beat Hennig for.
The belt Austin Idol is holding is the CWA International Title.

I remember when they redid the Tag Titles for the USWA. The repaired belts looked so much better than the silver and red ones. And BTW, would your friend be Dave Millican? Or one of the guys who works with Reggie Parks?

Yes, the Southern Title Gilbert, is holding in that pic is the old Continental Title.
Yes, David Millican, is a very good friend of mine me and David, has been close friends for many years. David, lives about 15 minutes from me. David actually did the work on the USWA Tag Titles, and made the USWA Hvt. Title at the dying days of the USWA ( a U.S. Title lookin version.)
