A lot of the major sites are reporting that Grandmaster Sexay Brian Lawler has been released by the WWE. Well, I don't guess Memphis Wrestling has to worry about who the next T.V. Champion will be, Brian can hold it for a while now.
Brian had showed up late for a show this weekend, and was told he would be fined if it happened again.
It was, however, decided to release Brian shortly thereafter.
WWE.com has yet to confirm this release, but as soon as they do, the press release will be posted here.

WOW Being late 1 time and you're fired!!! Granted we don't know the details or if this is even true, but damn talk about no leeway. Guess he is learning the hard way. Mark

I'm really hoping it wasn't drug related like his last release. That was a real eyesore to the USWA fans of old who supported him for so long.

I actually gave Christopher, a break and only gave him a month before he was let go again. It's sad only a 2 week spand and he is gone.
I think it had to do alot more with just Christopher, being late he also rubbed a few people the wrong way when he returned.
I didn't see them doing much with Christopher, anyway as all he has done since he returned was "job"
Actually I don't think Vince, Jim Ross, Johnny Ace, or anyone else wanted Christopher, back in WWE besides his dad. And that's the only reason he got another shot at WWE.
As far as Christopher, going to TNA I don't believe that's going to happen. Christopher was even relased from TNA after he rubbed a few of the guys that is in half-and half with Jarrett, and they wanted him out of the company so they let him go and he hasen't been brought back since.
I actually don't see Christopher, ever being called back to WWE.

I think BC does a really good job as a heel, and while I don't care for the Grandmaster gimmick generally, I think it works for him as a heel because he is so obviously NOT a hip hopper (if that's the right way to describe it). I also think the Sexy Assassin thing could make for an interesting story line, with BC treating him (or them) badly for weeks, and then finally having the tables turned on him.
I've never been able to fully accept him as a face because I've always gotten the impression that he is a legitimate jerk considering the way he's talked to the announcers over the years. Just some of the things he's said, or the way he's said them, have come off to me as the real BC rather than traits of his work character.
