I'm thinking of going to see Memphis Wrestling if they come to Trenton, TN again. I was gonna go see them the last time they came through a few months back, but had to work a basketball tournament in Trenton, and never found the National Guard Armory.
Which gets to my question? Would you go see Memphis Wrestling in your neck of the woods?
I think I would, just to get to meet Jimmy Hart if he was on the card.

I would say no. In fact, I have skipped Memphis shows that were close to me to go to shows that were further away from me in the past.
Last year, when I was still attending LAW shows in Dyersburg, TN, I skipped a Memphis Wrestling show that was about an hour and a half away from me, at most to go to Dyersburg, which was 4 hours away. I also skipped a Coliseum show to go to Dyersburg once. I skipped the last Coliseum show to go to a small show in Crenshaw, MS. Of course, I wasn't gonna pay 30 bucks for ringside to that show, either.
Before they started the TV show again last year, there was a group of guys that ran spot shows under the "Memphis Wrestling" banner. I went to 3 of those shows and they were a lot of fun. Spellbinder, BC, Steven Dunn, Kevin White, Doug Gilbert, Derrick King, Flex, Tim Grind, Brian Bump, Danny B. Good, and The Beale Street Posse (Krypto and Dustin) all appeared on one or more of the shows. BC was only on one (he no-showed two), Dunn was on two, and Doug was on one.
If the new show was anywhere near as good or as fun as those shows were, then I might consider going.

The main reason I haven't been to a show yet has been primarily scheduling conflicts. If they have a decent card at the Coliseum, and I'm free, I would certainly go.

I would go if Memphis wrestling had a show in Oxford. The only wrestling show that I ever regreted going to see was at the Superwalmart. I have been to all the MCW shows when they were in Oxford with most all them being at the Billiards Club and one in the grove on campus. I was at the one Power Pro show which they had at the Lafayette County High School. I did not even bother to go when the IWF had shows at the Armory on University Ave .

Unless they set up the ring across the street and let me watch from the comfort of my front porch swing for free, I probably wouldn't go. The TV show is so bad now that I rarely watch it, so spending money to see worse action isn't going to happen.

Well, I guess I'm a liar now. I decided to go check out the tapings this morning at the studio. I'm staying with some family right now, so I'm closer to the area. While the tapings did nothing to change my opinion of the show, I'll probably go back If I have a chance. I got to sit and visit with some people that I enjoy talking to. That made the morning a little bit better. That, and the fact that it was free.
