I have been a Memphis Wrestling fan since around 1964 . I started watching it with my dad and when he stopped watching it , I continued . I remember the old ''Channel 13 '' days and when it moved to Channel 5 . The thing that really stood out in my mind was Dr. Ken Ramey and The Interns . They were the most dominate heel tag team of that time . I beleive they were slightly ahead of the time as they brought a certain ''mystique '' to the ring . I remember seeing Dr. Ken and his boys in a match with Tojo Yamamoto and his former arch enemy , Jackie Fargo . It seemed that the week before the match , that while Fargo was doing a interview with Lance Russell . The Interns jumped him and beat him senceless . There were no other wrestlers left in the building to help Fargo .....except his arch rival , Tojo . Tojo hit the ring with a series of chops that sent The Interns and the good doctor back to the dressing room . Lance spoke to Tojo on camera afterwards and Tojo replied '' this is terrible ...I would help a dog '' The next week . it was on . Tojo and Fargo fought the Interns in a all out bloody war . The action became so intense , the ring collapesed on live television . This did not stop the fight as they continued to fight in the new '' pit '' they had just created . That match will live forever in my mind .

I had the chance to meet Dr. Ken and The Interns at Clash of the Legends III in Jackson, TN. The man is a class act, as are The Interns, and I'm glad to see that Ken beat cancer.
