I found a good tape of PPW last night. It was one of the week's where Jim Cornette was managing Steve Bradley. Completely awesome tape. Just to hear Cornette cut a promo. They should show his interviews to all the kids in wrestling wanting to know about how to be a "talker" in pro wrestling.
Also on the tape, Kurt Angle took on New PPW Champion: Steve Bradley.
Glen Kulka, Mic Tierney were in action, as well as many others during this great PPW time. Vic Grimes took on "Slick" Robbie D. on the tape too.
I've heard a rumor that Robbie D. may have passed on? Anyone know of this, BTW?
What was funny about this program was that Corey Maclin said to Cornette, "I wish you guys would get out of here and go away. This is ridiculous."
And well, most of that talent did, and now look at where Memphis Wrestling has went. Blah.

"Slick" Robbie D. ( Robert Dicks Jr. ) did pass away on Febuary 18, 2002 at the age of 32.
Dicks, was messing around with a minor and the girls dad had Dicks arrested where he came up dead right after getting arrested.
I actually did a one-on-one interview with Dicks, when I was working for New Wave Wrestling magazine where the interview was dedicated on his passing in the mag. Matter of fact I have several posed shots of Dicks, that I took at Power Pro in the dressing room.
