Here's to all the area's greatest jobbers of times past and the superstars they made look great (or not so great in some instances).
My favorites as a kid:
* Jim Jamison (I sure rooted hard for him to win a match) * William "Refrigerator" Thompson * T. D. Steel * Reggie B. Fine * Ken Raper * Rough and Ready w/Boss Winters
Thanks for the memories!

Trae Keller aka Henrick Von Keller aka Miles long yep i have learnt a great deal from that man. Here in Oxford when MCW did weekly and Biweekly cards every Wednesday at the Billards club in 2000 from late April to December, he was not just known as Miles Long but was known as Miles Long Beaver Hunter. He would come to the ring in a boy scout uniform even with a full backpack. He would come to the ring to some song about beaver hunting and would tell beaver jokes and always talk about the elusive bald beaver. He even picked up an Aussie accent between shows here. He even wrestled for the Southern Title once with Bobcat in his corner whom he called a feisty Beaver.

Jerry Bryant was actually a good friend of Lawler's so he kept Bryant around and even put him with Big Lou Winston and gave them the name the Memphis Vice ( a Crocket & Tub angle from the tv show Miami Vice )
David Haskins, is not related to Lawler, at all that has been a rumor for many years. Lawler, is only related to Wayne Ferris, & Carl Fergie, which his first cousins, and Tony Williams ( who worked as Kid Wikkid is cousins with Brian, but that is the only relation in the Lawler family besides a former Jerry Calhoun who was the brother-in-law of Jerry, when he was married to Paula.

I am in the process of trying to find most of my Memphis footage in hopes of making some tapes to sell, so other can view the USWA for a minimal non-profit price, and I came across a black fellow named Tiger Jackson taking on Rick Titan circa 1996 or 97.
