MCW Memphis Championship Wrestling was born out of KAW (Kick Ass Wrestling) which was a type of an outlaw promotion, running against PPW. After Jerry Lawler left PPW due to disputes with management, Lawler banded together with Terry Golden to make MCW a reality. |
